Fall...The light is softer... And the smell of autumn blows in on the breeze... it must be back to school time!!

Little Nest is so excited to be partnering with one of our favorite local schools this month: Pocopson Elementary in West Chester,PA. Pocopson's Daily Mission is to create a warm, nurturing and caring atmosphere that makes all children feel they belong; thus cultivating a learning environment that encourages children to reach their full academic and social potential. As a 2011 National Blue Ribbon School, we're pretty sure they are realizing that mission!

Parents say that it is the amazing energy between teachers, parents & administration that makes the school so great. WE think it might have something to do with the super cute students!

Keep visiting our blog throughout the month of October to see more smiling Pocopson faces. For every Pocopson family (or fan) that books a session in October, Little Nest will donate money back to the school PTO. The Pocopson PTO sponsors so many wonderful programs and enrichment activities for the students, like the Foreign Language program in Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, and German which is offered to students in the 1st-5th grades. Help us support their efforts this fall!

Hooray for May!! We are so excited for flowers and sunshine and smiling faces! May smells like green grass and pink blossoms, and everyone is a bit more peppy with the thought of summer fun around the corner.

We are so excited to partner with a wonderful little school in Chadds Ford for the month of May... Fairville Friends School. While they may be small in size, they are big in reputation! And they are experts in nurturing our small little blossoms into wonderful, exuberant members of the community.

Fairville Friends School is a small Quaker preschool, serving children ages 24 months to 6 years. They are located in a charming, hundred-year-old farmhouse on 2.5 acres of fenced play yards, gardens, and meadows in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Read more about their philosophy, programs, staff, and community on their website: www.fairvillefriends.org

Starting in the Fall of 2012, Fairville will offer Kindergarten! Kindergarten will be a Full-day program from 8:30 am - 3:15 pm, including lunch & snacks. Children must be age five by August 31st, 2012. Call them if you are interested in learning more, or in taking a tour of their beautiful campus: at 610-388-1268.

Keep checking our blog to see sunny, smiley, friendly Fairville faces!

Growing Up Forever

It always makes me happy to see a busy family take time out of their schedule to come to the studio. Focusing on capturing this time in their family's life is something brother and sister VIncent and Mia will always appreciate as well as something that will always warm Mom and Dad's hearts when they look back on these photos. Vincent has the most stunning eyes and Mia's budding teeth make her smile so memorable for this age in her life. Hopefully we'll get to join in seeing them grow here at Little Nest!

Can you believe it's April already?! (although... it has felt like April for months, right?!)

Our amazing school partner this month is Concord Elementary School, right here in Glen Mills, PA!! We are so excited to see all of our friends and neighbors this month. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces... and can't wait to meet new friends.

Concord Elementary educates children from Kindergarten to 2nd Grade and has an amazing synergy between teachers, parents and administration. As the starting off point for most of the children in the district (it houses all of the Kindergarten classes for Garnet Valley), Concord sets the stage for the amazing reputation that draws hundreds of families to the Garnet Valley School district every year.

Throughout the month of April, Little Nest will donate money to the Concord Elementary Home & School Association for every Concord family that books a session to take place this month. Want to help them reach their goals? Show your Jaguar Pride and let us know you are a Concord Elementary supporter when you book. Easy as pie!
